Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Belated Mother's Day to all of those who read this that are Mother's themselves.

On Mother's Day this year we went to the John Ball Park Zoo with my Grandma and Grandpa Stegenga. Grandpa and I spent a lot of time looking at the turkeys and fish. He can do one mean turkey call. I also got to pet some of the animals in the petting zoo. Most of the animlas were in the resting area where we were not allowed to pet them. Maybe next time they will be up for the attention. Later we went back to their house and had lunch. It was a very fun day!

Tulip Time 2007

This year Tulip Time was a blast! I really love my cousins Brendan and Karsyn. We ran and ran and ran around in the park. Mom and Dad let me eat junk food and ice cream. Yummy! The new thing that I learned this week is to say"I love you". My mom melts everytime I tell her.

The Park

I have had a lot of fun at the park. I love to swing and go down the slide but the best part is getting to play with other kids. I try to do all the things that they do even if sometimes I am too little yet!

Happy Birthday Grandpa

This is a picture of me helping Grandpa open his presents for his birthday on Sunday! I really like to hear the wrapping paper crinkle. My rash is all the way gone now. I am already an outdoorsman and am loving the nicer weather. Hope it stays warm:)

Fifths Disease

I woke this morning with a weird rash on my legs and arms. I have very sensitive skin and it did not itch at all so my mom was not too worried about it. As the day went on it got more and more bumpy. My mom called the doctor to see what it could be. They told her it sounded like I have Fifths Disease. It is a common virus among kids my age. They said a rash and a mild fever is all that should happen. It is very contagious to even my parents and grandma. We are praying that this is all this rash is and that dad doesn't get it before he starts his new job at Sandy Pines on Tuesday.

New Things

I got to spend some with my whole family on Easter which was really nice. I love to get spoiled by my grandparents any time I can! I have been very busy and learning new things every day. I know that if I say please I can get about anything from mom (she is wrapped around my finger):) I have a great appetite and will eat almost anything. Last night I ate a whole 6 oz steak by myself. Yum Yum

Sad Days

It has been a very sad weekend. My dog Megan was put to sleep because she was so old. My mom and dad have had her since they were in high school so this has been really hard on them. Sometimes I forget that she is not here anymore and I call for her and my mom has to remind me that she is "dog heaven". Megan was a very loving and loyal dog and our whole family will miss her.
